I worked out these controls!

CONTROLS:

3-D Control Stick = Any movement of the analogue stick will move around the set of test characters, try not to loose them :P.
Z-button = Makes the characters start moving.
R-button = Changes the direction that the characters do there animations! (either Forwards or Reversed!!!!)
L-button = ????No Fuction????
C-Up/C-Down = Speed up-Slow down animations (there are X speeds NOTE: Too slow and the game will FREEZE)
C-Left/C-Right = ????No Function????
A-button = Freezes the current animation and puts the character control to "Manual" animation operation (with D-pad Left or Right) Or press A again to return to "Auto" animations
B-button = Changes the test characters "Stance"
D-pad Left/Right = Frame by Frame Character Animations (speed must be stopped to work -Prees A-button)
D-pad Up/Down = Cycles you through ALL the character movement animations IN THE GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
START-button = I think it resets the animations back the beginning set/Also good if you don't want the camera to move around all the time when your pressing the buttons

Thanks for all your work.. But I simply can't make the Level Select/Stage Select, work... Where on the main menu screen is it supposed to appear.


The Camera and defuser modifiers only works for me with my own codes..

Try pressing L & R together where it says:
New Game
Continue
Battle Mode
Sound
Resolution
, etc...
sometimes it will just fade to black, but it will probably still be activated (press up or down a few times and press the A button it should load you elsewhere) and usable you just can't see the screens options.. other times the menu will come straight up.

It works anywhere in the game after the Konami Computer Entertainment Osaka logos. It doesn't matter where, you can do it while in a battle even.
But it will regularly come up with that black screen.

I just reset the AR and N64 and try it agian..

Yes, I'm 100% positively sure about the 8-bit / 16-bit thing.
Especially when you think about the fact that all addresses / codes in any game, are in 8-bit only. Also 8-bit codes can only have two digits in the ASCII value eg. 80XXXXXX 00XX. So whenever you see a 8-bit modifier code, looking like this 80XXXXXX 0XXX, it's corrupt. Only 16-bit codes can have more than two values in the ASCII.. Also all moon jump codes are actually in 8-bit and not in 16-bit.

Hey i finally figured out why it wasnt working for you kai666 and everyone else to I bet!

Was a damn Typo! I guess as I rushed typing out all that I made some mistakes but that was one of the main codes..

Typo
D005DCC1 0030 - L & R activator
800C5D7D 0001 - missing the 1 before the C

was actually meant to be...

Maybe it's also possible to find the Invincibility and Play as any Monster, cheats? If these cheat features actually exists, within the game?

PS: The correct code for the, non-working, level select is:
